Why does the RTC counter sometimes cannot be read correctly?

Latest Updated:05/27/2013

Question:

The RTC counter sometimes cannot be read correctly.

Answer:

When using the RTC, set the clock so that the frequency of the peripheral module clock (PCLKB) is greater than or equal to the frequency of the RTC count source.
If this condition is not met, the RTC counter may not be read correctly.
For details, see the overview of Realtime Clock (RTCa) or Realtime Clock (RTCb) in the user's manual: hardware.
