Count source of peripheral function if CPU clock is change

Latest Updated:03/22/2012

Question:

When a CPU clock is changed from a main clock to an on-chip oscillator clock, what happens to the count source of the peripheral function?

Answer:

The on-chip oscillator clock becomes the count source of the peripheral functions. However, for peripheral functions for which the count source has been selected as f2n* or fC32, these count sources are unchanged.
*When the XIN clock (fXIND) is selected as the f2n count source.
