If no other error message was generated previous to this message, most likely the emulator software has not been installed.
Please confirm that the software has been installed using the following method.
Start up the High-performance Embedded Workshop and open a workspace.
If “Device driver not found; connection cancelled” is displayed, click the OK button to close the message box.
From the menu, select [Debug] → [Debug Settings] to open the [Debug Settings] dialog box.
Select <none> from the target drop-down list.
Click the OK button to close the [Debug Settings] box.
Re-open the [Debug Settings] dialog box and confirm that the emulator is included in the target drop-down list.
If it is not displayed in the list, this indicates that the target emulator software has not been installed. Install the software and try the emulator connection again.
