You can combine multiple hex files by starting the optimizing linkage editor on the command line. Open the multiple Intel expanded hex files or Motorola S-record files and check the data they contain, and then combine the files in order from that with the lowest address.
Example: To generate file3.mot by combining file1.mot and file2.mot
"C\...\rlink.exe" file1.mot file2.mot -form=stype -output=file3.mot
An information file (link map file) which includes the details of the appending will be output if the –list option is specified.
If the –s9 option is specified, the S9 record will be output in the end, even if the entry address exceeds 0x10000, when a Motorola S-record file is being output.
* Specify –form=hex when combining .hex files.
The file can be generated automatically after building, by input of the above command to the following when using CS+.
[Common Options] tab -> [Others] -> [Commands executed after build processing] on CS+
Note that you cannot mix different types of input files.
