What happen if I execute an EEL_Execute with EEL_CMD_REFRESH command?

Latest Updated:04/23/2014

Question:

In the EEPROM Emulation Library Pack02 for the RL78 family of MCUs, what happens if I execute an EEL_Execute function with EEL_CMD_REFRESH command after an abnormal state occurs while an EEL_Execute function with EEL_CMD_REFRESH command was copying data to a block?

Answer:

The block to which data were being copied when the abnormal state occurred is set as a excluded block. Processing is continued by designating the next invalid block as the block to which data are to be copied.
Note, however, that processing of the EEL_Execute function with EEL_CMD_REFRESH command ends with the return value EEL_ERR_POOL_EXHAUSTED (EEL block exhausted error) if there is no next invalid block.
