TPS-1 Shared Memory Handling Conflict

Last Updated:06/01/2017

In regards to TPS-1 shared memory handling, how is it guaranteed that no conflict will occur? For example, what happens when the host CPU writes to shared memory and the shared memory is being read?

The memory areas within the IO area (shared memory handling) are protected by a buffer mechanism, which prevents read/write collisions. Read and write access of data within the NRT area in shared memory area is made after each request, controlled by the event-unit, and is thus separated.
