About bit error of RAM-ECC function

Last Updated:01/16/2018

Question:

If a 1-bit error is detected when the bit error detection bit (DBERR) (for the RAM-ECC function) is already set to 1 (a 2-bit error detected), will the value of the DBERR bit change?

Answer:

The DBERR bit will always indicate the latest error detected; therefore, when a bit error (1-bit error) is detected, the value of the DBERR bit will be changed to 0.
